THE NEW INSIGHTS LIFE COACH TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME
A choice of three Certification Tracks is open to you when you enrol in the New Insights Life Coach Training and Certification Programme.
After all, we appreciate that 'one size does not fit all'!
Rest assured that all three levels of certification will allow you to practice professionally as a life coach, with the confidence of knowing that you have in-depth training and an internationally accredited qualification under your belt.
We recommend starting out on the Track that best suits your ultimate ambitions, as upgrading later is about 10% more expensive. You can read more about track upgrades after the track comparison presented below.

UPGRADING FROM ONE TRACK TO ANOTHER
We recommend choosing the track that's right for you from the outset. This will save you money overall as the fee for upgrading after you have enrolled is approximately 10% higher (and base fees are adjusted from time to time).
We allow trainees to upgrade during or after training subject to the restrictions below:
UPGRADING DURING YOUR INITIAL TRAINING
You can apply for a track upgrade during training as follows:
CLASSIC to ELITE or PRO: Upgrade must be requested within the first six months after enrolling.
ELITE to PRO: Upgrade can be requested at any time before completing certification provided that there are at least three months left before the two-year certification period expires.
UPGRADING AFTER CERTIFICATION
You can apply for an upgrade at any time after completing certification.
We only allow upgrades to PRO level at this point (i.e. CLASSIC to PRO or ELITE to PRO)
CLASSIC level coaches will be required to:
- Engage a VIP mentor coach to be coached and mentored through the 15 sessions of the New Insights Life Coaching System.
- Submit recordings of two sessions for professional competency assessment purposes.
ELITE level coaches will be required to:
- Submit recordings of two sessions for professional competency assessment purposes
MORE ON OUR COACHING & MENTORING SERVICES (ELITE AND PRO TRACKS)
If you choose the ELITE or PRO track you will get access to one of our top coaches (we call them VIP – or Valued Independent Partner – coaches) who will provide you with coaching and mentoring services for up to 20 hours of their professional time. Such services are generally provided remotely through Zoom, Skype, or similar VOIP facility.
Coaching and Mentoring assistance, though not essential, will add another important dimension to your training.
While training to become a life coach, you will get to experience what it is like to be coached, thus experiencing both sides of the coaching coin – coaching and being coached!
MORE ON OUR COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT PROCESS (PRO TRACK)
The CLASSIC and ELITE tracks require a rigorous assessment of the trainee, in two parts, viz.
- understanding of the skills training theory (self-test assignments and a theorty exam); and
- the ability to apply this through practice coaching, for which clients submit feedback forms to New Insights.
The PRO track builds on this, with an additional requirement for you to submit video or audio recordings of two of the practice sessions you undertake. Competency in applying the theory in actual coaching sessions is then professionally evaluated by one of our VIP coaches.
This difference is recognised on the certificate that we issue after certification. Graduates of the CLASSIC and ELITE tracks receive a Certificate of Completion, whereas graduates of the PRO track receive a Certificate of Competency.
MORE ON THE TRAINING DURATION
Remember, this is a self paced programme. The time you take will largely depend on you and the time you have available to study and practice, so there is no hard and fast answer to this.
You may have read that on average our trainee coaches (CLASSIC track) tends to complete certification in around 9-15 months.
If you choose to enrol in the ELITE or PRO track you may require a little more time to take account of the coaching and mentoring interactions and the video assessment of competency. We recommend you allow between 12 and 18 months to become certified at the ELITE or PRO level.
No matter what track you choose, New Insights will provide full certification support for up to two full years should you need it.
SO, WHICH TRACK IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Rest assured there is no right or wrong answer!
It all depends on you and your personal assessment of the cost/benefit tradeoff.
This essentially comes down to who you are, how you learn best, and how you view the cost/benefit tradeoff.
There is no right or wrong answer here. You need to weigh up the added benefits of the different tracks relative to the budget that you personally wish to allocate for training.
The CLASSIC track represents exceptional value for money and is everything you need to become a life coach and set up your own practice.
The ELITE track adds another dimension to your training, exposing you to what it is like to be coached, along with the guidance and advice that a very experienced coach can offer.
The PRO track – whether you enrol in it from the start or choose to upgrade from one of the other tracks later – is for those who want the very best training and want to submit their expertise to the ultimate litmus test that comes from a professional assessment of real coaching sessions.
Whichever track you choose, we feel sure you won't be disappointed by the quality, integrity and value of the training and all round experience.
